Finally, my 360 RROD’ed :poke:

Funny thing, the GPU started failing last year after I renewed my XBOX LIVE Gold subscription, then died in September/October, was brought back to life earlier this year with a heat gun and a huge tumor-like-turbine hanging from its side, and died in the call of duty, while playing Rainbow Six Vegas and suffering from the particles of a smoke grenade which made the whole thing go boom!

Damn, that sucks… You know something’s wrong when you need to look for overclocking-grade solutions to keep the GPU cold 🙄

BTW, let me know if you’re giving it some kind of funeral, I have some ideas on mind that include motorbikes and rusty axes :axe:

A real tragedy, and I suppose the warranty has expired. Before turning it into a kitchen, is it not possible to change the GPU?, Surely someone on the Internet sell some XBOX in poor condition.

Tragedy indeed my friend, but it isn’t worth the hassle to try change the GPU, which I believe would be an interesting though hard thing to do. The warranty is long gone. It was going to happen, sooner or later. What makes me mad is that it started failing after I renewed my LIVE subscription, and my subscription ended before I could fix the console again for that short life span. :doh:

Damn, why is it the fanboys and girls always shout about the newest xbox360 (Jasper ?) is the best of the bunch when even those fuckers crap out before anything ? so back to basics. if you want a 360 to survive, then you make a custom case for it with overclocking fans and what not. So it will not heat up like a bitch who is horny. Sorry if I sound sexist, but I am not. I just use words, which can be seen as sexist and what not.
